A great event! Leif Erikson would be so proud of you. (My 4.5 year old daughter went nuts for the scepter and crown, by the way -- thanks!) |

Yep, to echo the rest, we had a great time. Just the right combination of challenge and breakthrough. Good job GCs |

I was very impressed by the production value of this hunt. Can you give details on how the final lock was made? |

It turns out that the scepter enchants 6-year-old girls also. And in the hand of her 3-year-old brother, it becomes a fierce weapon. I was astounded at the production values for this event in Mountain View. As a Simulcast, I expected mostly paper puzzles. But no! A giant flag! Legos! Hand-painted popsicle sticks! 5 flagpoles! Treasure chests! Excellent puzzles. The Gølèms struggled more than usual (perhaps weighed down by the superfluous diacritics) but nothing seemed unfair. It was a delightful adventure! |

Thank you for posting the puzzle pdfs!! We arrived at the treasure with not quite an hour left, astonished to find as many puzzles awaiting us as we'd spent all day solving ... glorious puzzles even more beautiful and intriguing than the earlier ones, which is saying a lot. Great game, we just needed more time! }:-D} |
